Hello! Welcome to my little corner of the universe. Join me as I make my way through my infinite reading list one page at a time.
Les Miserables may have a higher page count, but The Orphan Master's Son is by far the heaviest book I've read this year. Although this is a work of fiction, many of the disturbing details of this story are the frightening reality for millions of North Korean citizens. I'm having difficulty putting my thoughts on this book into words, so I'll simply say that the Pulitzer Prize was well-deserved. I rate it 4.5 stars.
