Hello! Welcome to my little corner of the universe. Join me as I make my way through my infinite reading list one page at a time.
This one kept me up late into the night. The concept behind Before I Go To Sleep is a great one. As a result of a traumatic brain injury, Christine wakes up each day with no memory of her identity, her friends and family, or her past. At the urging of her doctor, Christine begins keeping a journal, and soon her memories of the details of her life and the circumstances behind the event that lead to her amnesia gradually unfold. I thought the ending was only 'meh,' but I didn't hate it and the rest of the book was absolutely riveting, so it's all good.
